TALKING OBJECTS LAB RESIDENCIES: Henri Sagna

We are happy to announce the latest TALKING OBJECTS LAB residencies at the Musée Théodore Monod with Henri Sagna, who will work with the museum collection for the coming months.

After Viyé Diba and Ibrahima Thiam, TALKING OBJECTS LAB continues its artist residencies at the Musée Théodore Monod with artist Henri Sagna.

For his work “Re-connections”, for instance, the artist Henri Sagna questions the objects of the past to get contemporary and future answers. He makes sound recordings of objects at different times of the day and night, spends time with them, and lives with them. Always in search of a link with the present. From this research, the artist develops a multimedia installation at the Musée Théodore Monod in Dakar.
